Inventor-led nutrition

Food from trees.
Science for real life.

Rocket Nutrition began when lifelong inventor Mike Hughes brought a problem-solver's curiosity to the natural world—especially the overlooked potential found in trees, plants and bark. Today, that nature-first perspective meets purposeful formulation, clear directions and products designed to fit real life.

Meet Mike Hughes · Master Inventor

A different kind of mind built this company.

Before creating Rocket Nutrition, Mike built a career around invention and is credited with more than 180 electrical-engineering patents. He brought that same first-principles discipline to nutrition: question assumptions, study how the pieces work together and look where others may have stopped looking.

“Inventors look where everyone else has stopped looking. In nutrition, that led us back to trees, bark and plants.”From Mike's notebook

Mike's central question

Nature is not outdated. It is underexplored.

Mike's engineering background taught him to examine systems, not isolated parts. He applied that mindset to foods and botanicals—asking what useful natural chemistry might be hiding in plain sight. Bark protects a tree and contains a complex natural chemistry that is easy to overlook.

“Food from trees—what if this is what’s working?”
1
Begin with recognizable sourcesStart with foods, plants and botanicals that belong to the natural world rather than treating nature as an afterthought.
2
Form mattersAbsorption is not guaranteed by the word “natural.” Preparation, dose, delivery format and the formulation matrix can all influence bioavailability.
3
Apply an inventor's disciplineCarry nature-first inspiration into purposeful formulas, appropriate formats, clear directions and current product labels.

“Food from trees” expresses Rocket Nutrition’s nature-first origin and formulation philosophy. It does not mean that every current formula comes from trees or bark, or that botanical ingredients are automatically better absorbed. Product-specific absorption claims require product-specific evidence.

One family. Multiple approaches.

Different formulas for different goals.

Some products use our proprietary paired system. Others use capsules, drops, or targeted single-format formulas. The format follows the purpose of the product—not the other way around.

The important distinction: the paired gel-tab and capsule system belongs only to the products identified as paired systems. Every other formula should be understood and used according to its own product page and current label.
One signature Rocket Nutrition innovation

For paired products: two parts, one serving.

Rocket Man, Rocket ManUP, and Rocket Woman intentionally pair a gel tab and a capsule. Those two components are designed to be taken together—not treated as competing options.

Mike's note

“A formula should have a reason for every ingredient—and a routine simple enough for real people to follow.”

The routine matters

Simple enough to use correctly.

Even a strong formula cannot help if the directions are ignored. The current label is always the final authority for serving size, timing, and cautions.
