Editorial & Corrections Policy
Editorial standards
Rocket Nutrition publishes general wellness and ingredient education. Our goal is that a reader can tell, on every page, which statements come from published research, which are our interpretation, and which are product marketing. We hold every health article to the following standards.
- Sourcing. Ingredient and health claims are grounded in peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed, or in guidance from bodies such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, FDA and USDA. Every health article carries a References section with citations and direct links so readers can verify them.
- Separation of evidence and interpretation. When we describe a study, we describe what it reported and in whom. Commentary beyond that is labelled as our editorial view.
- No disease claims. Our products are dietary supplements. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and statements about them have not been evaluated by the FDA. We do not publish testimonials, results, ratings or statistics we cannot substantiate.
- Commercial transparency. We sell the supplements we write about. Product mentions inside an article are marketing and are set apart from the evidence discussion.
- Dating. Each article shows its publication date and, when revised, its updated date.
- Not medical advice. Nothing we publish replaces individualized care. We tell readers to consult their physician or pharmacist before starting a supplement, particularly during pregnancy or nursing, alongside prescription medication, or with a diagnosed condition.
Review process
Each health article is drafted by a named author, checked against its cited sources, and reviewed for compliance with FTC and FDA rules on supplement marketing before publication. Formulation and ingredient detail is verified against our own product specifications and certificates of analysis. Articles that discuss clinically sensitive topics also carry a named medical reviewer, shown in the byline as “Medically reviewed by.”
Authors
Rocket Nutrition Editorial Team
Our in-house editorial team researches and writes ingredient guides and general wellness articles. The team works directly with the people who formulate and manufacture our products, verifying every ingredient description against our formulation records, supplier documentation and certificates of analysis before publication. Team members are not licensed clinicians; clinical questions are routed to the medical reviewer named on the article.
Matthew Papke — Chief Operating Officer
Matthew Papke is Chief Operating Officer of Rocket Nutrition. He oversees operations, sourcing and fulfillment, and writes on company news, supplement-industry standards and general wellness. He is not a licensed clinician; clinical questions raised in his articles are routed to the medical reviewer named on the article or removed.
Medical reviewers
When an article covers a clinically sensitive topic, a licensed practitioner reviews it for accuracy and safety and is credited by name and credentials in the byline. Where no reviewer is credited, the article has been reviewed for sourcing and compliance by our editorial team only, and should be read as general education.
Corrections policy
We correct errors quickly and openly.
- Substantive corrections — anything that changes the meaning of a health statement, a dosage, a safety note or a citation — are made in place, the article’s updated date is changed, and a short correction note is added at the point of the change.
- Minor fixes such as typography, formatting or broken links are made without a note.
- If we cannot substantiate a claim, we remove it rather than soften it.
To report an error, email [email protected] with the article title and the specific statement in question, or use our contact form. We aim to respond within two business days.
